IS THIS TOUR FOR ME?

If you already have hiking experience and want to live a different experience by immersing yourself in the heart of the Alps, this tour is definitely for you. The trek is moderately demanding but does not require any technical ability or particular skills, it is only necessary to be trained to walk in the mountains with a distance that can reach a maximum of 15km (always also take into consideration the positive difference in altitude of the daily stages which can vary from 800 to 1100m). The trails are maintained in an exemplary way, perhaps the TMB is the trek with the best maintained trails in the world! It is important to take into consideration that you will have to walk with your backpack throughout the trek so rational use of space is essential to keep the weight as low as possible. For any type of doubt, the Trekking Torino team is available!

EFFORT

The trek between Courmayeur and Chamonix proposed by us is a moderately challenging trek where you can expect to walk for an average of 5-6 hours per day with a positive altitude difference of up to 1100m. The key point is that you will have to walk with your backpack, so it is recommended to have previous experience in alpine hiking and multi-day treks. As terms of reference to participate in the trek without difficulty you must be in good physical shape and able to cover at least 15km with at least 1000m of altitude difference in an alpine environment above 2000m above sea level without excessive effort. You should also be used to hiking and able to do so comfortably for at least 5 hours a day. Contact us to talk about it in more detail.
